Let’s talk about Target’s Studio McGee summer collection.

Shea and hubby Syd unveiled their latest beauts for Target home and let me say that they didn’t swing and miss. By far my favorite piece to be released in this collection is simply titled “glass textbook.” This item is a series of water colored paintings that reflect a mountainous region of Iceland and Switzerland. This piece is absolutely exquisite and will fit in beautifully with most home styles. If you really want it, Van Gogh buy it

This season’s new bouclé

The Pacific Palasades is this seasons take on the boucle chair. I personally prefer last seasons model (that I purchased) but it appears that the Palasades seat is a bit deeper than the previous generation. The Palasades would be perfect to snuggle up in with a big bag of popcorn and a scary movie. This chair comes in 3 colors: cream boucle, (which is pictured) brown velvet, and a tan boucle.

okay but beautiful things can be horrible right?

Don’t be fooled by it’s beauty, this pillow would work so well in my bedroom. Robust rusts and shades of cream and sage and linear lines oh my….everything sounds great right? WRONG. This bad boy is not remotely comfortable…I get it! I get it! I’ve slept on a rollout bed before and honestly, I think I would choose it’s mattress springs over the rough texture of this lumbar pillow. This pillow of death is incredibly scratchy and has the thread count of a potato sack. Unfortunately, I will have to say—Sorry folks! This is one item that I definitely think that you should pass on.

But if you still want to try it out, don’t say I didn’t warn ya! This is a haunted pillow probably, a bad omen, the cutest-driest-and-thorniest cactus that you are allowed to snuggle. Okay, so I’m being slightly dramatic but don’t click the link! I literally had to return it to the store, do you not listen? LOL. Fine, go ahead and click if you dare!
